Hello! I am Tori, and it has been my dream to work in this space since middle school! My most natural instinct is caring for others, and guiding people to achieve their goals! I graduated from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh - with a bachelors in Social Work, and a minor in Spanish. I have plans to return to school for my Licensed Clinical Social Work degree!
I have over 5 years experience working in the Respite Care Industry - and in that time I learned about all of the unmet needs in our community. I have over 15 years of babysitting experience - that has taught me to enter into each clients world & see things through their perspective. I have also done independent care-giving, providing me with opportunities to adapt to various levels of need.
Founding Full Circle Respite has been my passion project for over two years, beginning in my time at UWO. I am beyond excited for what we have to offer our clients, our plans for future expansion, and the improvements that can be made throughout our community.
When I am not working (which is rarely), you might find me hiking, kayaking, crafting, listening to music, petting animals, or doing photography!
My journey to founding Full Circle Respite started long before our official launch. I have spent 5 years in the respite care industry as a program manager and providing direct services to clients in need.
During my schooling and while working in the respite care industry, I recognized a gap in the programs available for clients that needed truly individualized support.
I founded Full Circle Respite to change that! Our goal is to provide quality respite care and build skills with clients so that their growth is evident throughout all of their social systems.
When I am not busy at Full Circle Respite, I enjoy crocheting, spending time with my family and pets, and tending to my garden!
My journey started while I was completing my Bachelors degree in psychology, and Minor in African American Studies at UW Oshkosh. During my time in school I had the opportunity to work and gain experience that allowed me to create new and exciting connections such as Gracie and Tori.
I've always had a passion to work with others and help guide them, and I believe this work is a good way to dive into our community and help the Winnebago County grow as a whole. I am returning to school to receive my Masters in Social Work to become a therapist and expand our services to offer affordable therapy for the youth of Winnebago County.
I fully believe and trust Gracie, Tori, and I to provide a genuine opportunity for members and clientele to grow. Full Circle Respite is our dream, and we will do whatever it takes to provide lasting and quality connection for the youth and adults who need it.
Some fun facts about me in my free time, I love hiking, music, and quality time with the people I love. That also includes my two cats Simba and Rafiki!
We are always looking for dedicated people ready to join our team as Direct Service Professionals. See our tab regarding careers/opportunities for more information!
